The 14th annual Pepsi-Cola Taylor House Century Ride, set for Saturday, July 19, will give cyclists the opportunity to ride through Northern Arizona and enjoy the beautiful views while supporting a good cause. As always, the proceeds will benefit The Taylor House, a special home away from home for the families of patients who are being cared for at Flagstaff Medical Center.

Northern Arizona Healthcare cardiologist Jim Dwyer, M.D., was instrumental in helping develop new national safety and quality protocols for percutaneous coronary interventions, a common procedure used to open blocked arteries during a heart attack.

Verde Valley Medical Center’s Community Care Network has been recognized by Amerinet, a leading national healthcare solutions organization, as an Amerinet Healthcare Achievement Award winner in the category of Quality and Patient Care Delivery/Patient Satisfaction.

Verde Valley Medical Clinic – Primary Care in Cottonwood is open for same-day appointments from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. The clinic, located in Manzanita Plaza at 450 S. Willard St., is staffed by rotating primary care providers employed by Verde Valley Medical Center. New patients are welcome. For a Saturday appointment, please call 928-634-5551.
