Past Chair James E. Ledbetter

James Ledbetter resides in Cottonwood, Ariz. He has a law degree from Arizona State University, Tempe. He is licensed to practice in all State and Federal courts and in the Navajo, Hopi, White Mountain Apache, Yavapai-Apache, San Carlos Apache, Gila River, O'Odham and Hualapai Tribal Court systems. 

Jim is a past VVMC Board chair and also serves on the Board of Directors for Northern Arizona Healthcare. He is a past director and Board member of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel, and a member of the Defense Research Institute. Jim served many years as chairman of the Arizona State Liquor Board, and has served on the Governor's Emergency Medicine Task Force. He currently serves on the Mingus Union High School Board and is the cochair of Arizona's statewide investment strategy, the TIME Coalition (Transportation and Infrastructure Moving Arizona's Economy).

Jim enjoys snow skiing, lecturing, traveling and fishing. He and his wife Rita have five sons.
