CC Jones

CC started his musical career in San Diego, Ca. 30 years ago.  After touring nationally, including 12 years as a lounge headliner in the Nevada circuit, CC began a fantastic musical journey in Arizona that included a variety of musical productions and performances.  His musical skills include vocals, keyboards and percussions.

My Jones conducts the award winning CC Jones Orchestra and has performed for three U.S. Presidents, His orchestra has provided back up for such legendary performers as the late Lou Rawls, Ray Charles and other credits include Olivia Newton, Donna Summers, Smokey Robinson, Joan Rivers, Freda Payne and Stevie Wonder.

The orchestra has performed at several black-tie gala’s that include the Cass Marti Gras Gala, The Governor’s Inaugural, The Ambassador’s Capers and Turquoise Ball’s. The Boys and Girls Club “Champion of the Year Dinner, live Auction and Annual Wine Taste.”

CC has produced the Telluride Jazz Festival, The Arizona Music Festival, The City of Phoenix Mayors Hosted M.L.K. Breakfast and most recently, The Hot Pipers Showcase for singers.  Mr. Jones has received many awards and recognitions for his ongoing support of community charitable organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of Metropolitan Phoenix. CC has served on the board of directors of C.A.S.S. Central Arizona Shelter Services, the Hon Kachina Council, The South Mountain Heart Association and the Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee.  He continues to work with organizations providing resources for homeless men, woman and children.

Mr. Jones is the president of CC Jones Productions and provides a variety of music venues for local and national clients.  CC has received many awards for music productions including Southwest Airline’s Good Neighbor Award and the annual C.O.B.A. artist award.

Mr Jones just completed a musical production called “The Show” which featured 22 of Arizona’s top singers.  The production included winners of the 2009 “Hot Pipes” showcase for singers.  This event was directed by the renowned theatre director, Terry Helland.  The sold out show received several standing ovations from an enthusiastic audience.

C.C. is excited about the opportunity to bring his 5 piece contemporary dance band to this year’s Copper Ball, Saturday June 5, 2010 at the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village in Sedona, Arizona.  The band features a new additional to this troupe called TNT Tim Hope, Tony Sharp and Kerri Amman.  They are 3 outstanding vocalists/entertainers who “Rock the House” with a nostalgic and current music format.  They have been performing together for 3 years now.

TNT has performed as part of the C.C. Jones Band at the 2009 Turquoise Ball in Flagstaff, Arizona, the Silverleaf Club New Years Eve Gala, the 2010 Boy’s & Girl’s Club champion’s Dinner and recently “The Show.”
