Alzheimer’s or Dementia: Telling the difference is the topic of the next Take Note Sedona Lecture Series sponsored by Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC). The Tuesday, Sept. 11 event, will feature neurologist Elwood Hopkins, M.D., Ph.D. The lecture begins at 5 p.m. at the Sedona Library, 3250 White Bear Rd., Sedona. Dr. Hopkins will discuss the many similarities and differences between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and allow time for questions and answers.
Dr. Hopkins specializes in neurological disorders including stroke, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and migraine headaches.
