Mammos & Mocktails Oct. 2 – Recognizing October National Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC) and the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare – Sedona (CCNAH-Sedona) are kicking off October National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by hosting Mammos & Mocktails. The free, women-focused event is 4 – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2 at Participants will have the opportunity to interact with local physicians who specialize in caring for those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer; meet CCNAH’s breast health and nurse navigator teams; enjoy non-alcoholic mocktails and gourmet appetizers; receive personalized tours of the newly renovated Cancer Center and its sophisticated cancer treatment technologies; and much more. Additionally, women can make an register to receive a low-cost, $85 digital screening mammogram at one of three VVMC Imaging Services locations.
Established in 1995, CCNAH-Sedona provides radiation services with board-certified oncologists and specialty trained nurses who utilize the most current technologies. CCNAH-Sedona is affiliated with the University of Arizona Cancer Center and is a part of Verde Valley Medical Center, a member of Northern Arizona Healthcare.
