The Verde Valley Medical Center Board of Directors offers a Student Loan Program to Verde Valley community members interested in obtaining competency in a healthcare profession.

Criteria include U.S. citizenship and Arizona residency for at least one year, Verde Valley residency or VVMC employment, commitment to a healthcare profession, commitment to the Verde Valley community, and demonstrated financial need. Participants must be enrolled in a college-level program and must maintain a minimum of a C average GPA. Reapplication for each semester is required, and postgraduate degrees are not eligible.

The application process includes submission of a student loan application, one-page essay, and provision of three professional references. Applicants will go through the recruitment process according to VVMC’s Human Resources policies and procedures.
