Verde Valley Medical Center invites the community to an Open House for the new Maternity/Women’s Services Unit on the fourth floor of the east addition. The celebration will be held on Monday, August 10, from 5-7 p.m.

Some features of the unit include:

• Resort-like setting
• Private Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms with beautiful views
• Surgical suite should a cesarean birth become necessary
• State-of-the-art security system
• Two separate nurseries (One is next to the Family Waiting Area with large windows for designated visitors to see babies. The second nursery provides a quiet and safe setting for those babies requiring additional care.)

The Maternity/Women’s Services Unit will begin caring for patients in the new unit on Monday, August 17.

For easiest access to Open House, please park in the VVMC visitor parking lot on Candy Lane, and enter through the Inpatient Services entrance.
