The free event also includes free blood pressure screenings, educational materials including a self-assessment from the American Heart Association to gauge your risk for heart disease, teaching tools to figure BMI (body mass index), and tours of the Cardiac and EntireCare rehabilitation gyms. Volunteers will be on site demonstrating how to research hospital services and physician information on the VVMC and NAH Web sites. Light, heart-healthy snacks will be available in between each lecture.

Although the lectures are free, preregistration is required. Please call 639-6551 to reserve a seat for any one or all three seminars.
