The Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare are hosting a free program for cancer patients and survivors. Lunch and Learn with Suzanne Connolly is an educational lunch event on Saturday, June 6, from 12-2 p.m., in Verde Valley Medical Center Conference Room B.
This month’s program, Changing Your Thoughts about Cancer Survival, is designed for cancer patients and survivors to learn about the psychological effects of cancer and how Thought Field Therapy (TFT) can assist in the treatment of the trauma, physical pain, hopelessness, rage and anxieties around the welfare of survivors.
Suzanne Connolly is in private practice working with individuals, couples, families and groups. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and is certified as a sex therapist by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists. Connolly was trained at the diagnostic level of TFT by Dr. Roger Callahan, an American psychologist who developed the treatment.
There is no fee to attend the luncheon program, but group size is limited and registration is required. Please call 204-4175 to register or for more information. For easiest access to Conference Room B, please park in the visitor lot at 269 S. Candy Lane, and enter through the VVMC Outpatient Services entrance.
