Affecting one out of every eight women, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women. Because the prevalence of breast cancer is so high, discovering this disease early is the most effective and efficient tool to recovery. Learn how to catch this disease by knowing what to look and feel for.
Join the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare – Sedona Campus and Verde Valley Medical Center for a free two-hour Breast Self-Exam class that teaches women how to perform a breast self-exam and includes detailed instructions on specialized models. The class is from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Sept. 2 in the Agave Room of the Education Department at Verde Valley Medical Center, 269 S. Candy Lane.
