In celebration of American Heart Month, Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC) and the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona (HVCNA) are sponsoring a free, informative heart-related health fair. This year’s annual Heart Fair is from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 26, in VVMC’s main lobby and adjoining conference rooms, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood. Space is limited; to reserve your seat for this event, call 928 639-6551.
The fair will feature heart-related lectures by HVCNA cardiologists, a heart-healthy cooking demonstration and a Tai Chi class for those who wish to participate. For those who are interested in joint health, a Joint Replacement Seminar will follow the fair at 2 p.m.
The Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona (HVCNA) is a partnership between Verde Valley Medical Center and Flagstaff Medical Center. It combines physician office practices with extensive hospital-based services including diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures and open heart surgery. HVCNA offices are located in Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Sedona, Flagstaff and Winslow.
