Cancer Center Lunch & Learn: Hopeful Developments in Cancer Research – Sept. 10

In an effort to share relevant advances in cancer research and offer support to those affected by cancer, the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare and Verde Valley Medical Center are hosting a special Lunch & Learn event. The luncheon aims to bring hope and encouragement to cancer patients, survivors, friends and family members of those affected by cancer through education and inspiring presentations.

The next free Lunch & Learn is Noon – 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 10, at Verde Valley Medical Center, 269 Candy Lane, Cholla Room*; lunch provided. The meeting, “Hopeful Developments in Cancer Research,” features special guest Pamela Miel (MacKenzie), M.D. To reserve your seat for the Lunch & Learn, call 928 204-4160.

Dr. Miel (MacKenzie) will discuss the most recent developments in cancer research. Specializing in Medical Oncology, she will bring to light the developments and share the hope this research brings.
