In recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Rendezvous in Old Town is hosting “Save the Boobies.” The event is 5:30 – 9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, at Rendezvous, 777 N. Main St. in Old Town Cottonwood. For more information, call Rendezvous at 928 634-3777.

Patrons will be treated to the unique artwork of Arty Bras – decorative bras and artwork celebrating the beauty of all women. Arty Bras, sponsored by the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare, is an annual event that encourages anyone affected by breast cancer to decorate a bra or make a piece of art in support those who are battling breast cancer, those who are breast cancer survivors and in honor those who died as a result of breast cancer. This year more than 60 bras were on display with their clever titles and extravagant and fun designs at various locations throughout Northern Arizona.
