Heart of the Matter Seminar: Sleep Apnea – How does it affect your heart health?

Jan. 3, 2011
In an effort to educate the community on cardiovascular disease, treatment and prevention, Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC)  and The Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona (HVCNA) have teamed up to present monthly educational seminars. Each seminar provides educational information about the prevention and treatment options regarding heart disease presented by physicians within the community.

This free, informative event is 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 10 in VVMC Conference Rooms B and C, 269 S. Candy Lane. The January meeting features Psychiatrist Donald Curran, D.O., also board-certified in Geriatric, Family and Sleep Medicine, who will discuss what sleep apnea is and how it can increase the risk of heart disease.
