Take Note: What you need to know about cholesterol – Camp Verde Lecture Series Jan. 18

Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC) is sponsoring the Take Note Camp Verde Lecture Series. The Wednesday, Jan. 18 lecture, What you need to know about cholesterol, will feature Cardiologist Kenneth Bescak, M.D., F.A.C.C. The lecture is 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. at the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office Training Room, 646 S. 1st St., Camp Verde. To R.S.V.P. or for more information on this free event, call 928 639-6551.

Dr. Bescak will discuss important information about cholesterol, how it works in the body and when you need to make changes based on your cholesterol numbers. 

Dr. Bescak is a diagnostic cardiologist with the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona. He is an expert on how to treat and manage high cholesterol through proper nutrition. He specializes in lipid management, coronary heart disease management and cardiac rehabilitation. Dr. Bescak is one of 500 board-certified lipidologists in the country certified by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. Lipid management is an important factor in the prevention of coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease.
