Verde Valley Medical Center is hosting two free educational and interactive events for the community from 9 a.m. – noon, Saturday, June 25. Both events are happening simultaneously and can be accessed through VVMC’s EntireCare Front Lobby Entrance, 269 Candy Lane.

Orthopedic Fair
Sponsored by EntireCare Rehab & Sports Medicine Experts, the second annual Orthopedic Fair features physician lectures, therapy equipment and demonstrations, hands-on learning opportunities, information, flexibility screening and more.

• 10 a.m. – Conservative care for low-back pain with Glenn Lipton, M.D., and Kelly Fosberg, P.T., D.P.T. Learn treatment options for back pain through advanced treatment options and specialized physical therapy.
• 11 a.m. – Golf fitness program with Physical Therapist Drew Castelein, P.T., D.P.T. Learn how individualized golf fitness and exercise programs can produce a more accurate, powerful and injury-free swing.

Surgery Services Open House
Surgical Services invites the public to take a ‘behind-the-doors’ tour of VVMC’s advanced surgical and endoscopic equipment and state-of-the-art surgical suites. Learn what is available in the community to meet the surgical needs of residents and visitors. View surgical instruments and equipment and speak with physicians, nurses and technicians who are experts in providing surgical care.

The open house takes place in conjunction with the Orthopedic Fair; no registration for the open house is necessary.
