Verde Valley Medical Center awarded for its excellence ten years in a row
Verde Valley Medical Center once again has been recognized for its efforts in providing excellent customer service and earning the confidence of its patients. Professional Research Consultants (PRC) named VVMC the winner of a Platinum Achievement Award in Outpatient Surgical Services and a Gold Achievement Award in Outpatient Diagnostics Imaging Department. VVMC also earned three 5-Star Awards for customer service in scoring “Excellent” responses for Overall Quality of Care for Overall Outpatient Services, Inpatient Orthopedics Program and Outpatient Medical Imaging.
Additionally, the Emergency Department at VVMC’s Sedona Campus was a 5-Star winner in customer service for the seventh year in a row.

The prestigious Platinum and Gold Achievement Awards recognize hospital departments that elevate the level of patient care through original and innovative initiatives, staff sensitivity and creating an environment conducive to patient care and healing.
The 5-Star Awards, the highest customer service awards possible through PRC, rank VVMC in the top 10 percent of the more than 300 hospitals in PRC’s national database for patient satisfaction. The awards are based on the number of patients who rate the facility as “excellent” for the overall quality of care received.
