Verde Valley Medical Center’s physician groups recently contracted with UnitedHealthcare of Arizona. The new contract allows UnitedHealthcare of Arizona members to have in-network access to VVMC physicians who specialize in primary care, cardiology, general surgery and orthopedic surgery.

UnitedHealthcare insurance now is being accepted by these VVMC physicians:

• Family Health Providers with locations in Camp Verde, 928 639-5555; Cottonwood, 928 634-5551; Sedona, 928 204-4944; and Village of Oak Creek, 928 204-4999. A service of VVMC, Family Health Providers has expanded to 10 primary care providers in four clinic locations throughout the greater Verde Valley area. Family Health Providers includes physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners who specialize in family medicine and/or internal medicine.
• The Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona (HVCNA) with locations in Cottonwood, Camp Verde and Sedona; 877 928-WELL. The team of highly skilled physicians includes general and interventional cardiologists, and cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons. HVCNA’s extensive hospital-based services include diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures and open heart surgery (performed in Flagstaff). HVCNA is a partnership between Verde Valley Medical Center and Flagstaff Medical Center.
• Verde Valley Orthopedic Associates located in Cottonwood; Jack Wylie, M.D., 928 634-1112 and Brad Williams, M.D., Ph.D., 928 634-0323. The physicians at Verde Valley Orthopedic Associates offer a comprehensive approach to treating orthopedic conditions through surgical and non-surgical treatment plans.
• VVMC General Surgeons Hu Blake, M.D., and Blair Faulkner, M.D., 928 639-0909. Drs. Blake and Faulkner perform a wide range of inpatient and outpatient general surgery procedures.
