Take Note Sedona: Tarnishing the Golden Years - Late Life Depression, July 10

Tarnishing the Golden Years – Late Life Depression is the topic of the next Take Note Sedona Lecture Series sponsored by Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC).

The Tuesday, July 10, lecture will feature Donald Curran, D.O. The lecture begins at 5 p.m. at the Sedona Library, 3250 White Bear Rd., Sedona. To R.S.V.P. or for more information on this free event, call 928 639-6551.

Dr. Curran will be discussing the many stressful issues that are associated with the aging process like grief, loneliness, coping with illness or physical disability, mental and behavioral changes, death and dying, changing life roles or status and conflicts with adult children.

Dr. Curran has been a member of the VVMC Medical Staff since 2004. He is board-certified in family medicine, geriatrics, and specializes in psychiatry.

The Take Note Sedona Lecture Series offers various health-related educational topics to benefit the community. The lectures feature prominent speakers who are experts in their field.
