Take Note Sedona: Know your heart history – May 8

Verde Valley Medical Center (VVMC) is sponsoring the Take Note Sedona Lecture Series. The Tuesday, May 8 lecture, Know your heart history – effective communication with your doctors, will feature interventional cardiologist Bruce Peek, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.P.  The lecture begins at 5 p.m. at the Sedona Library, 3250 White Bear Rd., Sedona. Dr. Peek will discuss the importance of knowing how to effectively communicate with your physician and care providers and the importance of knowing your “heart history” to identify potential conditions and risk factors. 

Dr. Peek is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has performed more than 8,000 invasive coronary procedures. He is a member of the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona.
