Verde Valley Medical Center is pleased to welcome Diana M. Ennes, M.D., to its Medical Staff. Dr. Ennes is an orthopedic surgeon with extensive education, experience and training. She is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons (ABOS), and has been a Fellow of the ABOS since 1987. Dr. Ennes was recruited by VVMC to provide additional orthopedic services to the Verde Valley and Sedona communities.
Dr. Ennes utilizes both surgical and non-surgical modalities to treat conditions of the musculoskeletal system, including injuries, degenerative diseases and congenital conditions. She has a special interest in treating patients with lower extremity pain, shoulder pain, and those individuals who have experienced trauma. “My philosophy of medicine is very straightforward,” said Dr. Ennes. “Listen to the patient to gain a clear understanding of their needs.”
Originally from Michigan, Dr. Ennes received her medical degree from the University of Michigan (U of M) Medical School. After earning her medical doctorate, Dr. Ennes continued her education and training at U of M with an internship in the General Surgery Program and residency in the orthopedic surgery program.
Prior to relocating to the Verde Valley, Dr. Ennes was in private practice in Tawas St. Joseph Hospital, Tawas City, Michigan. She is the former Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at St. Joseph. In addition, Dr. Ennes was a member of the medical staff at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
“I have had a home in the Verde Valley for six years,” said Dr. Ennes. “Now I have the opportunity to live here year-round.”
