Mychelle Owen, D.O. , board certified obstetrician and gynecologist, has joined the Medical Staff of Verde Valley Medical Center.

Dr. Owen received her medical training at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. She completed her internship at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio, and her residency the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine Consortium of Graduate Medical Education and Training, also at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Prior to relocating to the Verde Valley, Dr. Owen had developed and fostered the growth of a new, highly successful, private practice in the greater Toledo area of Ohio at five area hospitals. She holds a number of honors and awards, and has given lectures and presentations in her field.

Dr. Owen’s professional memberships include the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG), American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), and American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
