VVMC’s Diabetes Support Group: Diabetes & Foot Health – July 23
Diabetes & Foot Health is the topic of the July Diabetes Support Group sponsored by Verde Valley Medical Center’s (VVMC) Diabetes Education Program. The Monday, July 23 support group, featuring Podiatrist Serjik Nazarian, D.P.M., meets 5 – 7 p.m. in VVMC’s Conference Rooms B and C, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood; all members of the community are invited to join. To R.S.V.P., call 928 639-6346; walk-ins welcome.
Dr. Nazarian, a local podiatrist, will discuss foot health and how it can affect those with diabetes, and the importance of proper foot care.
VVMC is reaching out to embrace the diabetic community and their loved ones by hosting monthly diabetes support groups the fourth Monday of each month. Meetings focus on diabetes management and education and provide a supportive and sharing environment for all individuals, family members and friends affected by the disease.
