In an effort to increase cancer knowledge and offer support to those affected by cancer, the Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare and Verde Valley Medical Center are hosting a special Lunch & Learn event. The luncheon aims to bring hope and encouragement to cancer patients, survivors, friends and family members of those affected by cancer through education and inspiring presentations.
The next free Lunch & Learn is noon – 2 p.m., Saturday, March 26, at Verde Valley Medical Center, 269 Candy Lane, Conference Room B. The meeting, “Design Your Own Fitness Program,” features special guest Mary McCaffery. As a certified personal trainer and cancer survivor, McCaffery will share the benefits of exercise and how it has helped her through her life after cancer.
