Healthy Babies Program

The Healthy Babies Program is an outreach support service provided by VVMC to assist parents who are expecting or have a new baby in their family. Babies don’t come with instructions, but the nurses from VVMC’s Healthy Babies program do! As you prepare for your baby’s arrival, and after your baby is born, our experienced perinatal educators work with your physician to provide assessment, education and support for mothers making the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. All care and instructions are delivered in the familiar surroundings of your home.

This program is provided by VVMC at no cost to all parents and babies we serve. Please call us to set up an appointment with you at your convenience. The appointment can be scheduled at your home or at the VVMC Perinatal Unit.

Verde Valley Parenting Partnership

The Verde Valley Parenting Partnership partners with Verde Valley parents to help meet their family needs. VVPP has established goals of fostering self-sufficiency; encouraging parent-child relationships; providing resources; addressing health, safety and developmental needs; and promoting literacy.

Through early intervention, this home-based program is designed to assure healthy growth and development for infants and toddlers through age five. Staff members will provide parenting information and education, developmental screening, professional counseling referrals, play groups and resources.

This is grant-funded program through First Things First, an organization established to help provide greater opportunities for all Arizona children, five and under, to grow up prepared to succeed. It ensures their readiness for school, and supports their families in preparing them for success and wellbeing.
