Social Services

Social workers at VVMC understand the special problems that illness and hospitalization can create for patients and their families. Our caring staff members are available 24-hours a day to provide the following services:

• Support in a crisis
• Counseling related to the patient’s illness
• Information and referral services
• Discharge planning

There is no fee for these services.
