Visitor Information
Visiting Hours: 10 a.m.-9 p.m. except:
Critical Care Unit - Visiting hours are: 9 a.m.-1 p.m., 3-6 p.m. and 8-9 p.m., limited to immediate family, and according to the patient’s condition. Visits should be limited to 15 minutes. Use the phone at the CCU information desk to call into the nurse’s station before entering the CCU. PLEASE remember to turn off all cell phones!
Telemetry - Visitors should be immediate family or designated support person(s). Visits should be limited to 30 minutes within the time blocks of 10 a.m-3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Special arrangements for alternative visiting hours may be made.
Obstetrics - Visiting hours may be modified dependent on the infant or mother’s condition. The father or significant other may remain after normal visiting hours. Visiting hours are from 3-9 p.m.
Pediatrics - One member of the family may stay around the clock. A (parental) designated support person may stay in the parent's absence.
Children as visitors - Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult when visiting patient rooms. Young children must be supervised and kept under control at all times. Please be aware, during Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) season, children under the age of 12 years are prohibited from visiting patient care areas of the hospital.
Lounges - Lounges for patients and visitors are located throughout the hospital. Outside patios are located on the first level adjacent to the Café, the Rose Garden and behind the Administrative wing. On the second level, two patios flank the Mingus unit. Public restrooms and telephones are located near the main entrances and most waiting areas.
Tobacco Policy - The entire campus of Verde Valley Medical Center is a tobacco-free environment. Thank you for your cooperation.
