Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare – Sedona Campus

The Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare – Sedona Campus provides radiation and medical oncology services with board-certified oncologists who utilize the most current technologies and programs:

• Breast Cancer Resource Center: Certified breast health navigators provide education, patient support, prevention programs, nutritional counseling, breast prosthesis fittings and assist with the selection of mastectomy bras, hats and wigs.

• Brachytherapy: Small, rice-sized radioactive seeds placed into the prostate gland give off low-dose radiation to the tumor over six months to treat prostate cancer.

• Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT): IMRT pinpoints difficult-to-treat tumors and the sophisticated software configures the radiation beam to match the shape of the tumor while adjusting the exposure during treatment.

• Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT): IGRT improves the precision and effectiveness of cancer treatments through high-resolution images that pinpoint tumor sites.

• Support Groups: CCNAH – Sedona offers support groups for patients, family members and caregivers who are affected by cancer. The “Chat Room” offers support for all types of cancer while “Heads Up!” focuses on head and neck cancer. Several free “Lunch & Learn” luncheons are hosted every year to offer additional support and discuss relevant topics.
