Sedona Emergency Department
The Verde Valley Medical Center-Sedona campus provides a physician-staffed Emergency department 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
The physicians are supported by registered nurses trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
We are able to treat medical emergencies from inconvenient injuries and illness that interrupt vacations to life-threatening incidents.
Many of our patients are treated and released. Those requiring inpatient care are transported by ground or air to the nearest appropriate hospital.
The Sedona Campus Emergency department has received 11 national Top Performer customer satisfaction awards in the past five years, and our average wait and length-of-stay times are significantly lower than national averages.
