Flagstaff Medical Center Volunteer Services

Founded in 1960, our Volunteer Services program boasts a membership of more than 200 people age 16 and up. Volunteers serve in many departments of the hospital. Volunteers must be 18-years-old or older, except in the Gift Shop and Information Desk.

We utilize volunteers in the following areas:

• Cancer Center

• Cardiology/Mended Hearts

• Caring Canines

• Clerical

• Emergency department

• First Step

• Information Desk

• Gift Shop

• Pediatric Play Room

• Physical Therapy

• Spiritual Care/Chaplaincy

• Surgical services

• Surgery waiting room

• Total Joint Center

We ask for four hours a week and a six month commitment to volunteering. This offsets the cost of insurance, applications, TB testing, etc.
