State of
Arizona.
Flagstaff Medical Center is focused on being a leader in patient satisfaction and
providing quality healthcare. To provide feedback on our
performance in these areas, we utilize Professional Research Consultants (PRC),
a national research firm specializing in healthcare. On an ongoing basis,
PRC compares Flagstaff Medical Center’s patient satisfaction scores with hospitals across the
nation. We then share this information with our patients, visitors,
physicians, employees and volunteers.
Flagstaff Medical Center has begun to work toward designation
as a Magnet hospital. Only a select handful of hospitals nationwide qualify
as Magnet facilities - meaning they meet several stringent criteria which
set these hospitals apart from all others. A Magnet hospital is one that has
embarked on an extensive review and systematic evaluation of its nursing
practice by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
