VVMC - Sedona Campus
VVMC - Sedona Campus is an outpatient facility providing primary
healthcare, emergency services and cancer treatment to the Sedona-Oak Creek
area. In July 1995, we dedicated the first building on our 43-acre site.
Into it we moved our already established family practice, lab and x-ray and
opened the community's first emergency and cancer services. Other services
remain located off the main campus including physical therapy, cardiac
rehabilitation, and Northern Arizona Homecare.
As a not-for-profit organization, VVMC - Sedona Campus is governed by a
volunteer board of directors and dedicated to serving all persons in need,
regardless of their ability to pay. We are a member of Northern Arizona
Healthcare and work cooperatively with hospital members, Flagstaff Medical
Center in Flagstaff, Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, and Northern
Arizona Homecare to deliver a comprehensive range of inpatient and
outpatient services. VVMC - Sedona Campus offers the services of 50
employees, 50 clinical volunteers, and our physicians are on the active
medical staff of either Flagstaff Medical Center or Verde Valley Medical
Center.
A philosophy that health is dependent on the balance of nature, scientific
knowledge and spirituality has guided the development of VVMC - Sedona
Campus from its inception. This is evident in the building design and its
art collection donated by local artists and collectors. It is evident, too,
in the attitude of the caregivers who help people through the trauma of a
medical emergency and cancer.
